TDOV always has me weepy...but then @chy_leigh tweets this... 😥😥Think I'll stick this up for the days when being trans is harder than normal https://t.co/3SBQAb8Wvb
@LeiperOttawa I’m so sorry this happened to you! I had a similar experience, winter 2024 I fell and broke my ankle (in 3 places) and I couldn’t get ahold of my sibling I live with and couldn’t even crawl to the door. Luckily a neighbour found me and stayed with me until paramedics arrived.
Jeff Leiper is now within five points of Mark Sutcliffe.
37% to 32%.
Across Ottawa, people are asking the same question: Do we keep accepting systems and decisions that fall short, or do we build a City That Works?
Momentum is building across Ottawa.

Since I’m reading the Pirates Of Aletharia series by @britneynjackson … this seemed highly appropriate to listen to 😂❤️❤️❤️ loving Maria and Em and I need this series not to end
OC Transpo still won't say whether it's paying contractor for suboptimal LRT service , this is taxpayer money and the info should be public https://t.co/W89KcyprAh
@HeyNurseKat Oh no I’m so very sorry for your loss!!! I didn’t know your pupper obviously but they brightened my day any time you shared pictures or stories 🥰🫂😢
@SJKennett Oh my gosh I have a medical procedure this morning and I’m anxious… and this tweet (and the quoted video) were exactly what I needed!! Sat here laughing out loud 🤣
Imagine getting in a time machine and going back to 1776 and telling the Founding Fathers that the King would one day be reminding America about the importance of democracy and our checks and balances. That is the timeline we’re living in.
We'll build a transit system that works by putting reliability first. Clear standards, restored service, faster routes, and riders back at the table. Because when transit works, the whole city works.

Next week, we officially kick off our campaign.
This kickoff is about bringing people together around a positive vision for our city. Ottawa is full of potential, and together we can build a city that works.

@TPepper13@tylerblack32 Sorry I don’t believe in a higher power that would punish people who choose to end their suffering rather than dying a painful death. I don’t know that I’ll get to the point where I choose MAID but I’m glad I have that option should I choose it
@s4rah_dev@tylerblack32 I’m so sorry u went through watching your mom go through that. I too had a palliative mom, luckily she passed within 48 hours of being palliative, but even then I was made aware to err on the side of asking 4 more pain meds than not as she couldn’t communicate if she was in pain.
@HeyNurseKat@AndrewKaufmanMD As someone diagnosed with colon cancer 15 years ago (so long before the COVID vaccine was even a thing) at 27 years old with colon cancer because I was LUCKY my doctor sent me for a colonoscopy “just in case” this guys claims are going to cause harm 🤬😢
@HeyNurseKat@harryfisherEMTP To my current emergency… if they’re not relevant (and I don’t see how a cancer’s cause would be 90% of the time) I’m not mentioning it til I have to give a deeper medical history at the hospital. I def wasn’t mentioning it when I broke my ankle. 🤣🤣(2/2)
@HeyNurseKat@harryfisherEMTP Also as someone who has needed many an ambulance ride over the past 15 years since I was diagnosed with a rare condition that also caused me to have cancer… the only reason my rare condition or my previous cancer come up is because they’re relevant (1/2)
@HeyNurseKat@harryfisherEMTP It seems like every day he has a new thing that is “astronomically increased” in people that got the Covid shot…. It’s amazing how a shot that’s only existed for a few years is the cause of every medical condition ever to exist 🤯🤣🤣
