@jodipicoult And then today that same HS was put on lockdown for a suspected shooter/gun on campus. So kids have to be subjected to terrifying lockdowns but cannot read a book about it. So infuriating. 2/2.

@jodipicoult I recently read a local news article that stated that our local school libraries could open (weeks into the start of school) so parents could basically complain about books. Nineteen Minutes was one that was mentioned. I am so upset weeks later. 1/2
