So this afternoon a man died in an explosion at Clifton Mount, Rotherham. The gas company have confirmed the explosion was not related to their gas network. Nothing else has been released about the cause of the explosion yet.
Is this how we have to live now? Wondering if we are going to be blown up?
Residential care - the expensive bit of elder care - will not be covered by a new Social Care Plan.
People will still have to sell their homes.
Another fib.
MONSTER ATLANTIC STORM STRENGTHENS AS SEAS APPROACH 40 FEET
A powerful storm is rapidly intensifying over the North Atlantic.
Pressure could plunge from around 986 mb to near 960 mb in just 24 hours as storm force winds develop.
Waves could build to 30 to nearly 40 feet, while Ireland faces strong winds and heavy rain. Iceland could be next with torrential rain and powerful winds.
Storm force winds. Enormous seas. And it’s still deepening.

The diesel theft theory being floated around is, in my opinion, one of the least plausible explanations yet.
Why would 5–10 men supposedly drive a 150–200 mile round trip from London to a quiet village right next to one of Britain’s most secure military airbases, just to steal diesel?
That explanation simply doesn’t add up to me.
I don’t believe a word of it.
UK Folic Acid ⚠️ Nightmare ‼️
Bertinet Bakery. We love ya 💕
No Folic acid in their bread!
(Was in Waitrose looking for bread. If you're worried about your cancer, trying not to get cancer, have asthma or another medical condition or take meds etc. The sourdough aisle = no FA.
Well that’s pretty much everyone 60+ who won’t vote Labour.
They’re talking about curbing payments to the elderly to generate “savings” then pouring that money into a giant NHS-style social care system that could cost £18 billion a year.
And this after he just gave away £88 million to Palestine. Priorities, apparently.
You definitely do let people sell food that damages peoples health Andy.
You are allowing alsorts of chemicals and additives in people's food that damages their health.

End the mandatory fortification of white flour with folic acid immediately

Andy Burnham pledged that the triple lock will be scraped... Why?
Look at the stats on where our money is spent. The triple lock cost is a drop in the ocean compared to the rest!
Have to laugh at a @BBCNews commentator who says Burnham is going to make the State Pension "less generous".
£241 a week, the smallest pension in the G7..."generous".
I'd love to see these people live on it.

She was last seen wearing her school uniform — a navy skirt and jumper, white shirt and blue/yellow tie, along with black socks and black slip-on shoes with bows.
📍 Amelia is known to visit Liverpool city centre.
🚨 IF YOU SEE AMELIA, CALL 999.
Please don’t just scroll past this. SHARE her face, particularly if you’re in Liverpool or the surrounding areas. One share could put this in front of somebody who has seen her.

Someone messaged me and said that I just needed to check the ingredients that's all. But that is the point. Folic acid is in fact nearly in everything already. If this legislation goes ahead. It will be in absolutely everything. You won't have a choice. Pls sign the Petition
The State Pension is the sole income for many pensioners. The system rules them out of additional help (eg pension credit). All those demanding the Triple Lock is ended...how would they like to live on £241 per week?
The UK already has the lowest pension in the G7. Shameful.
If the triple lock on pensions will be scrapped. The 1st priority is to fix Pension Credit - the top up for the lowest earning pensioners to give them a basic minimum income. Shamefully many 100,000s of the poorest pensions still miss out on what they're entitled to.
