Icertis surveyed more than 1,000 U.S. in-house lawyers. Nearly half would not detect an unauthorized or incorrect AI action until after it had already occurred.
39% have real-time visibility. 8% said an action could go undetected for days or weeks.
Take the OpenAl-Hugging Face incident. If it had gone to court, none of the parties could claim the Al was responsible. The defense is dead.
