@andyburnham Please speak to GPs about this, that level of funding to GP practices would provide significantly more consultations per £ than this scheme . The presentations listed can be serious pharmacists are not trained to diagnose like GPs.
@JayneKenne45941@SaulStaniforth@LongCovidHell@doctor_katie As in new GPs desperate to be employed to work. Those already working in practices have too much work , which is why we need funding for the unemployed and underemployed GPs to be in our practice teams. Last month GPs saw 40 million patients, that is ridiculous with current funds
Look out next week for our #EmpowerSessionalGPs campaign, where we'll bring together guidance, experiences and tools to support Sessional GPs in the workplace.

@jkaffash @pulsetoday I’m sorry Jaimie but this is total nonsense. This motion was written last week to clarify next steps allowing the @BMA_GP leadership flexibility to act. Nothing was written in response to your story earlier today. Thought it best to get the facts straight
A recent @commonwealthfnd report found that 71% of UK GPs are finding work extremely stressful and 40% are reporting burnout.
