There is a police operation neither Andy Burnham or his Greater Manchester Police force will talk about. For years the public was allowed to believe it existed to hunt the men who gang raped and trafficked Oldham's children. It carried a Gold command structure, the apparatus reserved for terror attacks and major disasters, and it ran for years in near total secrecy.
The documents tell a different story. Deployed by Greater Manchester Police in partnership with Oldham Council and the cooperation of Andy Burnham’s team, this operation was hunting the people exposing the cover up of the rape gangs.

It's now been announced he will be given a senior policy role in Burnham's No 10.
No surprise, no integrity, no democracy.
That's Labour.
Andy Burnham, Operation Hexagon and the Oldham Grooming Gang Cover-Up
Police ordinarily convene Gold command operations for terror attacks and disasters with bodies in the street. Yet in August 2019, @gmpolice and @OldhamCouncil convened one because they stood accused of covering up the gang rape of children.
Instead of launching an investigation into those that facilitated the rape and trafficking of children this Gold command operation hunted the people campaigning to stop it.
We now know this to be true. We forced it from them.
Pakistani Rape gangs were working the town. Their leaders included powerful individuals with direct links to the Labour Party. Children were being sold from care homes. Little girls were being dragged into cars outside school gates. Rooms in shisha bars were being rented out by the hour where girls were lured into. The gang rape of children took place in such high numbers, the authorities refuse to publish just how many children were involved.
THE OPERATION THAT PROTECTED POWER
It didn’t just stop with the council and the police. Andy Burnham, then Greater Manchester Mayor and now about to become Prime Minister is directly incriminated. His own assurance review in Oldham, the one that claimed there was no cover up, names Hexagon twice in its terms of reference.
Take a moment to understand what this means. The review commissioned to clear the institutions was fed, by written agreement, by the operation those institutions built to hunt their accusers. Hexagon supplies the review. The review is forbidden from examining Hexagon. The whitewash drank from the surveillance, and the surveillance sat safely beyond the whitewash’s reach. Nobody stumbles into an arrangement like that. Someone drafted it, someone approved it, and someone has been counting on nobody ever reading the small print to understand it.
Stand back and see the whole machine. A police force, a council, its leaders, sitting Labour MPs, the Mayor’s office and now would be Prime Minister, moving as one organism, every part pointed in the same direction. Away from the men who raped children. Away from those that covered it up. And instead, towards the people who tried to stop these barbaric crimes.
Even the local press was mobilised. When the first dawn raid came, reporters were fed the line that the arrest was connected to a child sexual exploitation investigation. They eagerly printed it and dressed up the whistleblower as the abuser.
In a town where the Labour Party held a mafia like grip, the warning to anyone else was clear. Speak out and we will destroy you. Which is why Pakistani gangsters, under the protection of Burnham's police force, printed details of my home address online.
Had Hexagon succeeded, the campaign for a national inquiry would have died too. The cover up would have held and what we now know as the truth would have remained a far right conspiracy. The whole country came within one collapsed prosecution of never knowing the truth. That little White girls were gang raped, on an industrial scale, by gangs of Pakistani men. And how, instead of arresting these men, those in power helped cover up their crimes. Some even benefitted from turning away from the screams of little girls being gang raped by men whose votes they relied on to stay in power.
In the end, Operation Hexagon is as simple as this. They built a Gold command to bury the truth about gang raped children. The man who presided over it is about to become Prime Minister. Read those two sentences again. Everything that is broken in this country lives in the space between them.

He's just been jailed for 3 years by a judge at Exeter Crown Court.
He'll probably be released in 18 months.
He broke into a house in Devon and terrorised a woman and her daughter by saying he was looking for a man he'd been paid to shoot, before realising he was in the wrong house.
He is 35 years old.
He has a record of 134 previous crimes.
When released, he will commit more crimes. He will be jailed. Upon release he will commit even more crimes.
He might even kill someone.
Our politicians, both local and national, will demand that no one uses the details of ANY of his crimes as a reason to resist the "Diversity, Equality and Inclusion" ethos of the "Refugees Welcome" brigade.
Public dissent will be treated as a worse crime than ANY of the horrific acts perpetrated by Al-Dossary and the thousands of men like him.
The families of the victims will be groomed to issue statements calling for understanding and solidarity with "those seeking sanctuary".
We will move on.
Until the following day when another batch of similarly avoidable crimes are committed.
Day after day it continues.
And we are expected to put up with it. Keep quiet. Shrug it off. Turn away. Ignore it.

The Telegraph has just published yet another piece attacking me, this time for my criticisms of the Fabian Society.
Totally bizarre.
The ZOOMED IN FOOTAGE shows it clearly.
Cody Harper is halfway to his feet, still stumbling up from a beating, when an officer rushes him and pins him against the shutters. She never says she's police. He's in pure fight-or-flight, still thinking it's another attacker.
So he swings to get free.
That's it. That's the whole crime they're taking him to court for.
He's at Birmingham Magistrates Court on JULY 23. That's a first hearing, not the trial. He enters his plea, and if he pleads not guilty, he can take it to a JURY. Twelve ordinary people, watching that same footage.
Prison is unlikely for a first-timer. But that was never really the point. A conviction still leaves him with a criminal record, and depending on how it goes, that can trail him for years, turning up on the background checks employers run before they hand you a job.
For a lad who was jumped in the street, that's the real cost here. Not a cell. A mark against his name he did nothing to earn.
Now the bit that should stop you cold.
Watch the SECOND officer. She walks straight up to the men who beat him, has a word, and lets them stroll off FREE. Then comes back and helps arrest the lad they attacked.
Those attackers? Weeks on. Never even arrested.
1:30am, Broad Street. Cody, 20, is set on by a group. One floors him. Another swings at the back of his head. The police are right there. They don't chase the men doing it. They grab the VICTIM.
Then the officer snarls at him, you're going to walk to the car, you f***ing dick. Try that in the street yourself and see how fast you're nicked.
Then came their statement. No concerns over the officer. And please, stop sharing the footage.
So X's own readers pinned a note under it. The footage disproves the police's account. Share it far and wide, to get justice for the man arrested. Fourteen million have seen it now.
The police asked you to look away, and the public fact-checked them on their own post.
This force is in special measures. Graded INADEQUATE on investigating crime and protecting the public. HALF the investigations inspectors checked had failed. They may have failed to log 46,000 uses of force. Their Chief Constable walked out in disgrace in January. Their crime-prediction tech gets it wrong 8 times out of 10.
It’s not just Birmingham.
Forces everywhere got flooded with green recruits in a hiring rush while the experienced ones walked. Training and vetting couldn't keep up. So now young officers with barely any life experience are making split-second calls they aren't ready for.
Then there's the guidance. After Henry Nowak, the police are reviewing their own anti-racism policies, because officers are so busy second-guessing the optics of race, they miss the job right in front of them. Protect the victim. Arrest the attacker.
Remember Nowak? Handcuffed as he lay dying, because his killer cried racism first and they believed the liar.
Same instinct. Grab whoever looks like less trouble. Miss the actual crime.
That's not one bad officer. That's a broken force, green recruits, and a rulebook with its priorities upside down.
They found time to charge him. They still can't find the men who beat him.
Nobody's had a trial. Cody's owed his day in court like anyone. Say that plainly.
But watch that second officer let his attackers walk, read the note the public stapled to the police's own words, and ask yourself one thing.
Who are the police actually protecting here.
Because it isn't him.
