@Cox_A_R I visit a 97 year old who is very sharp mentally but poor eyesight (not surprisingly, she’s 97!!) and she encounters these sorts of problems with various services. It’s a real problem for people of that generation (and probably lots of other people too)
@TheNewsAgents I agree that we have to beware outlandish health claims. But, pretty sure diabetes can be improved with diet. ‘Science’ has also been used to sell things that make people ill, like low-fat ultra processed food products.
