Over 30,000 cardiac arrests occur out of hospital in the UK every year, but less than 1 in 10 people survive. Learn CPR to help change that: https://t.co/X6n6CldwTo
We are absolutely delighted that today @MMcIlveenDUP has announced all post primary schools will be guaranteed access to CPR training. We have campaigned for many years for this lifesaving skill to be a vital part of our childrens' education https://t.co/S0fmyjhEha
Today we have written to new Education Minister @MMcIlveenDUP urging her to make CPR training mandatory in post primary schools.
Each year around 1,400 people suffer an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest here but less than one in ten people survive.
@DecLawn My daughter was taught CPR in school at 11 years old. When she was 14 this was put into action after I suffered a cardiac arrest at home in 2017. She successfully administered CPR until a defib arrived. This ultimately saved my life.
@JoeyEssex_ Joey, you are amazing! Such a brave decision to open up and talk about your heartache. You will be an inspiration to many people who have, and still are struggling with the pain of grief. You should be so proud of yourself ❤️
