π₯ During the second keynote talk, Adrian Colomer from ArtiKode Intelligence introduced us to Pixnormous. From the visualization to the automatic analysis of whole slide images and other gigapixel images, this seamless platform holds a promising future!
After Zhiming Zhao and Chunming Rong introduced their students' work, ESRs 1, 2, and 3 took us on a journey through data quality and research asset search (Na Li), virtual research environment approaches (Yuandou Wang) and secure data with AI and blockchain (Jiahui Geng).
ESRs 4, 8 and 9 covered important aspects from artifact analysis in whole slide images (Neel Kanwal), active learning and crowdsourcing (Arne Schmidtt) and innovative approaches like content-based image retrieval (Zahra Tabatabaei).
π»In the second session of the day, introduced by Kjersti Engan, we discovered the 3-year research results of ESRs focusing on AI-agnostics applications.
Session 1: CLARIFY Cancer-specific AI-Clinic Synergies: Bladder Cancer
Following their presentations, ESR5 (Saul Fuster) and ESR10 (Farbod Khoraminia) took the stage to dive deeper into Bladder Cancer, accompanied by their supervisors Kjersti Engan and Tahlita Zuiverloon
Session 1: CLARIFY Cancer-specific AI-Clinic Synergies: Breast Cancer
Continuing our journey, ESR6 (Claudio FernΓ‘ndez) and ESR11 (Umay Kiraz) shared their respective results on ai and clinical approaches in Breast Cancer, guided by their mentors Sandra Morales and Emiel Janssen.
π¬ In the first session of the day, we dived into the world of skin cancer research. ESR7 and ESR12 shared their collaborative work throughout these three years after Prof. Dr. Carlos Monteagudo presented the challenging spitzoid melanocytic tumors.
