@southern70sgirl@travelingflying I'm afraid you don't get to gatekeep the term "Christian." You disagree with our theology and we disagree with yours, but we strive to follow Christ's teachings and look to Him alone as our Savior. You may consider us not "good" Christians, but at the end, He will judge, not you.
@LawrenceRo83222@latterdaylaura Maybe you were previously misinformed, but now you have correct information. Watch out for Exodus 20:16 in the future. (And 2 Nephi 9:34, for that matter.)
@j_divis Neither passage, not any other passage, states or implies a closed canon. Those who say there won't be any more scripture are making a claim that they say is based in the Bible, which isn't there; they are adding to the words of scripture.
@crusadrcowboy@jkdavis89 We're all apostates to some degree; there is some ambiguity in how much and how quickly truths were lost. But in a word, yes, the falling away prophesied in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 happened.
Fortunately, the end of verse 2 is nearing, and God is preparing the people of the earth.
@DaveAlvord@typer_of_things@MamaCAllen Also, when they cite Revelation 22:18 to discredit the Book of Mormon, they say the Bible says there won't be any more scripture, which it doesn't say, so they are adding to the words of that book.
@PonchoCabbages It's not because they're confounded. It's because they see you're determined not to listen. It's simply a waste of time for them to stay.
@AdamDommeyer True, it's not another gospel! The Book of Mormon teaches faith, repentance, baptism, following Christ, and salvation through grace! That's the same gospel taught by Paul!
