Building my Miami home office from scratch. When my grandmother died in May, she left me the wooden propeller that belonged to one of my grandfather's planes he flew in the 1930s.

Good Morning!
It is Sunday, and the sun has not yet risen... There is such profound silence all around that one can hear only the whisper of the wind in hidden corners, while I let myself drift freely, like a leaf dancing as it falls to the earth. The city's bustle begins to stir in the distance, and a few sparrows open an invisible gateway to the life outside... a dog barks at them... and just like a balloon bursting, everything begins to come alive with color... Inside, the coffee is brewing and its aroma spreads pleasantly, while a special joy awakens within me, I adore this morning ritual. The scent of baked apples and warm croissants makes everything feel so inviting. Blackbirds begin to sing, my cats stretch with evident pleasure, and the first rays of light spill over the world, as if everything held a magic formula within... There is an embrace in it all ,one in which I can feel the pulse of our lives!

As a self-employed artist who ignored the "you're a sellout" comments as I made money, I firmly believe that ANY 'arts' degree should be *required* to have a Business Minor--Management, Accounting, Bookkeeping, job costing, all so they understand how to manage the BUSINESS of being an artist, too. Not just making more slaves to the NEA grants lifestyle.
