AS OF JULY 2, 2026 PART ONE

JANUARY 31, 2026
Nancy Guthrie was last seen alive by an Uber driver who dropped her off at her daughter Annie Guthrie and son-in-law Tommaso Cioni’s home. The family later reported that they had brought her home.

FEBRUARY 1, 2026
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing.

FEBRUARY 2, 2026
KOLD-TV, and other Tucson media outlets (KGUN & AZ FAMILY?) received the first RANSOM DEMAND.

The initial ransom note stated, “Hello Savannah, we have your mother,” demanding $4M by 2/5, then $6M by 2/9, in Bitcoin, as I am interpreting.

It threatened death and mentioned interior details of Nancy’s home, including the color of Nancy’s Apple Watch and location, the clothing she was wearing, and a broken exterior light.

Savannah posted on IG—“Please Pray” on IG.

TMZ & KGUN Receive Ransom Communication

The communication stated that they “did not fully grasp the seriousness of her condition,” claimed it was not their intention to hurt her, and said she died shortly afterward.

It also claimed she was “buried with nature,” said the family could not have prevented the outcome, and included an apology.

FEBRUARY 3, 2026
The Guthrie family publicly stated they were working with the FBI and were prepared to communicate with whoever sent the ransom note if it could help bring Nancy home safely.

FEBRUARY 4, 2026
Derrick Callella sent two hoax ransom text messages to Nancy Guthrie’s daughter and son-in-law demanding Bitcoin. He also “made a 9sec call to a family member.”

FEBRUARY 4, 2026
Savannah Guthrie publicly appealed for proof that Nancy was alive, saying the family wanted communication and was willing to do whatever they could to bring her home safely.

TMZ received two additional letters claiming Nancy had been in Sonora, Mexico, and again demanding 1 Bitcoin. Savannah returned to work on Today Show.

Sheriff Nanos starts citing and arresting independent media, YouTubers for reporting from public easements in Nancy Guthries neighborhood. (side note)

TMZ revealed it had received close to a dozen emails from the same individual and clarified some things.

TMZ reported an FBI source.

TMZ received another email claiming the sender possessed a hidden phone containing proof including video of Nancy and the kidnapper.

Demanding Bitcoin for the password to hidden phone with information. TMZ also states they have “received over a dozen emails from this individual.”
