Deputies assigned to our Marine Unit and Dive Team recovered a dumped, unreported stolen vehicle off the Willamette Park boat ramp this morning. A boater spotted the trunk lid and called dispatch. It was unoccupied. The registered owner has been notified.
The operation took approximately three hours. Divers hooked a line to the vehicle, so a heavy duty tow truck could pull the vehicle out. Thanks @USCGPacificNW for assisting.
The flakes were flying outside on Saturday but that didn't stop us from training indoors. The team spent some time in the classroom and in the pool. https://t.co/ayO6OoEMAx #ClarkCounty#wa#publicsafetydiving#scuba#diveteam

Kalama - NB I5/Exit 30 - CLOSED! A motorist attempted to drive through the deep water. Not advised! Doesn't look like this will be cleaned up anytime soon!
Some of our divers came in from the cold and snow to practice in the pool. A few hours were spent testing and practicing using a grid system to find and identify small objects that might be of interest in an investigation. https://t.co/Jmbu7aVGCz #CCDRT#DiveRescue#scuba#dive
