If you receive a Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) test message on June 2, it is legitimate and is only a test.
This thread explains what the test is, why CRESA uses WEAs carefully, and how you can help us evaluate alert performance.

During National Police Week, CRESA joins communities across the country in honoring the courage, sacrifice, and dedication of law enforcement officers.
Established in 1962, National Police Week includes Peace Officers Memorial Day on May 15 and serves as a time to remember the officers who gave their lives in the line of duty, while also recognizing those who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.
