As my school reopens to all Ss this week, I wanted to take the opportunity to let @ShakeUpLearning know that you have shaped my remote learning experience and through that the experience of all staff at my school.

I mentioned it in every meeting I ran. It became my remote learning mantra. So thank you @ShakeUpLearning for this post; this post which made me a better leader &, without doubt, a better person throughout all of the upheaval. Thank U for reminding me we all need grace sometimes

At what was the beginning of this process for my school, I saw your post @ShakeUpLearning on grace-that at this time what we all needed was grace. I have carried this through all my remote learning interactions. I kept it in mind when speaking with parents, students and teachers.

Can’t recommend this PD highly enough. As fate would have it I attended my 1st @EdTechTeamANZ Summit about 5 yrs ago at the time I started transforming my teaching. I’ve learnt so much & have been so supported by the team ever since. Go - You won’t regret it

Discussing impact of tech is hard-balancing what is lost w what is gained but love this viewpoint from @DocJordy We outsource cognitive processes to technology but this allows us to focus on higher value tasks. Interesting way to look at tech integration for both Ss & Ts #VACPSP

One thing's for sure though - misdirection doesn’t happen by chance, it needs careful, thoughtful planning and preparation beforehand. Challenge to self - consider and plan for ways I can manage attention creatively for a session I have to run in the first week back next term.

According 2 @thecosentino misdirection is essentially attention management. I thought I knew where his 'trick' was going but it went somewhere else. How can we bring this surprise 2 schools-2 have people so engaged in what's happening they miss the set up 4 amazing magic? #VACPSP
