Waiting in the chemist behind an addiction patient taking their methadone prescription (very common in Glasgow) struck me how kind the pharmacists always are. Call them by their name, ask how they are, treat them with respect. Pharmacists are front line and deserve some praise.

I created a #Twitter account some 6 years ago for a commercial purpose. It has an entirely benign name and purpose and has never ever been used.
The Notifications for it are ALL politically inspired left leaning bile. How is this?

@virginmedia My broadband stopped working this afternoon. I have rebooted and reset to no avail. Green lights flashing on hub. Earliest engineer appointment is saying Monday 2nd. I work from home, is there no sooner alternative?

@virginmedia Checked service status which says OK. Unplugged and checked all connections. Reset and rebooted several times. Work from home impossible without WiFi.
