Before kindergarten graduation vs. after kindergarten graduation 😂. It’s been such a fun ride in kindergarten, but I’m so excited to head back to my favorite grade, SECOND GRADE! See you in the fall!
Very proud to be wrapping up my first year as a Kindergarten teacher. I was NOT expecting to enjoy K as much as I do 😂. Cant wait to be back with a new group of littles in the fall! 💜
“New Jersey Democratic Governor Phil Murphy passed Act 1669 as part of the state’s 2025 budget in June to address a teacher shortage … The law went into effect on Jan. 1, 2025. Individuals seeking an instructional certificate will no longer need to pass the Praxis Core Test, a basic skills test for reading, writing, and math that is administered by the state’s Commissioner of Education.
‘We need more teachers,’ Democratic Sen. Jim Beach, who sponsored the bill, said in May 2024 when the chamber cleared the bill in a 34-2 vote. ‘This is the best way to get them.’”
Now THIS is student driven learning! For today’s carpet station during math stations, one student in the group played “teacher” and called on their students to help them fill in missing parts of a hundreds chart!! Students absolutely loved it!! #whylp@LivingstonPark
Editing in our first writing unit calls for punctuation practice w/ cake pop punctuation! Students work with their table to end each sentence with either a period, question mark, or exclamation point cake pop. I LOVED this activity and so did students! @LivingstonPark
