We deserve protection as Arab journalists covering Gaza, the occupied West Bank, & Lebanon. The blue press vest should mean something. But especially in the last year it has made us all more of a target. I find myself turning down assignments I usually wouldn’t have thought twice about. And that’s the point. To silence us.
