@trevortombe@TheHubCanada The net adjusted disposable income is below OECD average. Do you think the tax structure is contributing to this or is this happening despite the tax structure? https://t.co/Dn35PhjiiK.
@FlannOtmar I did not know until today that Danielle expressed being more open to the possibility that the U.S. is spraying chemicals over Alberta. πThe famous βsome unidentified person saidβπ€¦ββοΈ
@tj_figures@maxfawcett Thatβs likely true with respect to the person who raised the question. But in a room full of people, there are likely varying understandings. Even the Wikipedia definition of chemtrails includes solar radiation mgmt and weather mgmt. My vote is for nuanced messaging here.
@maxfawcett Rather than assuming everyone is working with the same definition of chemtrails, and saying itβs not a thing, I think it would be better to acknowledge there is hail cloud seeding, crop dusting, etc and now geo-engineering tests. Presumably only cloud seeding over Edmonton.
@_scottreid You are probably referring to 4 wheel vehicles but, interestingly, what you are asking appears to be impossible for 2 wheel riders. https://t.co/nOrBV3EnoF. Althoughβ¦. you did say βdramaticallyβ
@andrew_leach Studies from a few years ago were also showing the defrost cycle as significantly impacting performance at cold temps. The cost to meet that extra capacity and transmission really makes me wonder if the high cost of ground source heat pumps still might make sense.
@andrew_leach Electrification of heating is another factor to consider. If all Alberta households switched to air source heat pumps with electric resistance backup instead of gas, we would need an additional 32GW of dispatchable power. (1.6 M households with, say, 20 KW peak heating)
@andrew_leach Does a change to any of these payment strategies/policies have to initiated by the government or can the AESO or AUC implement some of these?
