Heads up for artists on twitter, I dont know if this is new in the ToS or if it already existed before this, but by posting any media on twitter, youre giving them the right to use it for AI training.
Shitty clause. Shitty company.
not my usual post but this app is genuinely cooked and id like to warn people about the new tos, especially artists on the ai training — please boost this!
X is implementing new terms of service that goes into effect on November 15. It says that by using X, you agree that everything you post can be used to train their AI models……yikes
Based on X's new Terms of Service and art editing AI update, you should probably keep your artwork off of the platform.
I've seen a number of people suggesting using poison like nightshade, or posting your art as a gif. While it sounds nice, they don't help much if at all.
