SEG executive @MikeMaughan said the plans include:
🚘 300 West going underground
🚶‍♂️ Walkable promenade from Delta Center into the plaza
📡 Jumbotron to watch games from plaza
🏗️ Salt Palace touching 300 West gets torn down, county working on replacing sq. footage
🛒 Retail, like team stores
🍴 New food and beverage
🏠 New housing, possibly more than one residential tower
🏨 A new hotel
🇯🇵 Japantown churches stay, ingress and egresses into plaza created
🎻 Tax money will help culture/convention blocks

The Charlotte Hornets are hiring Utah Jazz assistant Lamar Skeeter as the top assistant for new coach Charles Lee’s staff, sources tell ESPN. Skeeter spent a decade with Jazz under Will Hardy and Quin Snyder, elevating from a development coach into a lead assistant.
