I laugh everytime Nigerians try to troll me with Cuppy knowing fully well I have posts from that same period discrediting anything that suggested me wanting a relationship with her.

I don’t share the same adenuga packaged Disneyland fairytale fantasies as y’all and I knew exactly what we had going on and what I stood to benefit from it.

This is not a case of reasoning myself less but never have I entertained that ‘relationship” talks with Cuppy beyond the cruise that it was, which even Cuppy herself was opened to as at the time and was equally responsive and vibed along.

There are multiple newspaper outlets where I granted interviews and outrightly spelt it out to them that there’s no interest of ‘Love’ or ‘sexual desires’ of such in my mind towards her.

We were just two people catching cruise. I knew my place and that extended our bond to the point where she trusted me enough to bring me to her family function. Then again, I’ve made peace with the fact that “agenda no get mama, e no get papa”. Make everybody talk wetin them want with their gadgets.

This mindset contributed to how easy it was for me to step aside the moment she got in a relationship. We still chat, we still joke, maybe unlike before but we still follow each other and keep direct contacts and that’s the beauty of it.

I have learned to create access for myself and not mismanage or take advantage of it. I have made friends with people whose class is 999% above mine and we still sit together at the same table and chat like some day zero friends.

I’m just another Lapo boy trying to navigate his ways from the ghettos to the top and come tomorrow, you’ll still see me casually chilling and conversing with the classes of people you only see in your screens.

You can either continue to hate on that, or learn some social networking skills from it.

So Hato is like the same profile Cucurella is but a much more athletic option, faster and stronger, technically good, has a lot to work on like his 1v1 defending at times but can do the role Cucu does much better than they brought Veiga for. Can also play wide as well as inside. Much better ball carrier and he's also a passer. Complete in that aspect.
