پاکستان اور افغانستان کے ہزاروں طلبہ، ڈاکٹرز اور دیگر پیشہ ور افراد برسوں سے ایک دوسرے کے ممالک میں تعلیم حاصل کر رہے ہیں اور انسانیت کی خدمت انجام دے رہے ہیں۔ ویزا کی توسیع یا امیگریشن سے متعلق معاملات کو بنیاد بنا کر اس نوعیت کی کارروائیاں نہ صرف پیشہ ورانہ وقار کے منافی ہیں بلکہ دونوں ممالک کے درمیان تعلیمی، طبی اور انسانی تعاون کو بھی متاثر کرتی ہیں۔
میں وفاقی حکومت/ متعلقہ حکام سے مطالبہ کرتا ہوں کہ اس معاملے کا فوری نوٹس لیا جائے، شفاف تحقیقات کرائی جائیں، اور غیر ملکی طلبہ و پیشہ ور افراد کے ویزا کے اجرا اور توسیع کے عمل کو آسان، شفاف اور بروقت بنایا جائے۔ حکومتوں کے درمیان پالیسی معاملات کی قیمت طلبہ، ڈاکٹرز اور دیگر پیشہ ور افراد کی تضحیک کی صورت میں ادا نہیں کی جانی چاہیے۔ انصاف، انسانی وقار اور پیشہ ورانہ احترام کو یقینی بنایا جائے۔
