NEW: Arizona polygamist leader who had 20 "wives" with one as young as 9 years old, sentenced to 50 years in prison.

Samuel Bateman pleaded guilty to a scheme where he would kidnap girls and turn them into his s*x slaves.

Bateman had 10 "spiritual wives" under the age of 18.

The religious leader would force his male followers to atone for their sins by giving him their wives and daughters.

According to CBS, Bateman traveled between the states of Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and Nebraska to r*pe his victims.

The video below happened in August of 2022 when police received a tip that small fingers were reaching out of the trailer.

When police stopped the vehicle, they found multiple girls, including three between the ages of 11 and 14.

Eight of the children involved in the scheme were put into foster care in AZ but later escaped with the help of an adult "wife" and Bateman.

Seven adult wives were also charged for "coercing children into s*xual activity" or impeding the investigation.
