Difference in depth of England and Indian cricket can be understood from the fact that Sam Curran is considered an incredible cricketer in England.

Don't get me wrong Sam is a good cricketer, but he is only as good as Arjun Tendulkar. Show me one skill that Sam has and Arjun doesn't.

Both are skiddy, both bowl in high 120s, early 130s. Both can swing the ball and both can whack filth with the bat. It's just that Arjun never gets opportunities anywhere.

If anything, Arjun is taller which can help him be better in certain areas of the game than Sam.

I think if Arjun was born in England and had played a couple of years in county cricket as a local player, he would have made his test debut by now for England.
