Shots were fired today by the IDF near a pre-coordinated visit of an international diplomatic delegation outside #Jenin. Germany strongly condemns this. It is essential that diplomats can freely act as independent observers; they pose no security risk for Israel.

Israeli soldiers opened-fire earlier today in the direction of several foreign diplomats and journalists visiting the city of Jenin in the West Bank, after the Israel Defense Force claims they did not follow an approved route and entered an unauthorized area not coordinated with the IDF. The IDF has since apologized for the incident, with the Commanding Officer of the West Bank, Brig. Gen. Yaki Dolf announcing that an inquiry into the incident has been launched by the Ministry of Defense.

This recipe serves as an invitation to the magnificent #Danube Delta, one of the most beautiful areas of #Romania 🇷��, and home to a variety of delicious #fish soups.
Traditionally made of #sturgeon, today's star - the #storceag - originates from Sfântu Gheorghe (#Tulcea County), and it was originally a fishermen's #soup.
Paraphrasing the famous #culinary writer Radu Anton Roman - the storceag can be eaten only in Sf. Gheorghe, Danube Delta. It's a combination of the 🇺🇦 Ukrainian & 🇷🇴 (pastoral) Romanian cuisine - continental and fishy at the same time, but light.

The sweet symbol of #Purim is the cookie called "Oznei Haman" (Haman's ears 👉 the villain in the Purim story).
Jewish families use to prepare this delicious treat in 🇷🇴 as well, so I got acquainted with it during my childhood spent in #Maramureș, which was one of the centers of Jewish life in RO.
I prepare them always on Purim; this year's version has a 🇷🇴 touch 👉 the #magiun filling with #nuts.
