Are there a lot of other shareholders at that price? I can see being concerned if the founder sold a lot of shares at that price. But just one for 1%? Wouldn’t bother me as an investor. But if he sold 20% of his company at that price two months before he’s raising $2M+ it could be a problem.
@SillyPutty78 Well, this argument is pointless as it’s called Artificial Intelligence whether you like it or not. Which is better than Super Intelligence that the government is trying to promote.
We have record employment. There is always something to be scared of in the future. For my parents, it was the imminent threat of nuclear war. For other generations, it’s been climate change. You can’t live in fear. The only thing that will ensure the collapse of our economy and society is a declining birth rate.
I think you are confusing intelligence and consciousness. We have been using the term artificial intelligence to refer to computers for nearly a century and people understand what it means. It is not the same as human intelligence, which is why the descriptor ‘artificial’ is used. Just like artificial meat is not real meat and artificial turf is not real grass.
@HearBen34135@Owennfa Not sure how that's relevant to this thread, because income tax rates were actually higher than today back when I was in my 20's and 30's.
@hankinster@Owennfa Yep. I had a roommate up until I moved in with my now-wife. I never lived alone, having to handle a full rent or mortgage payment or utilities, groceries, etc on one income.
