Trump and maga are pretending to be invincible. They aren’t. They will try to dismantle free government in America, but the Constitution is stronger than them. We are stronger than them. Don’t be demoralized. It will be a long road, but they are not going to win. We are.
I love GOTV — knocked on neighbors’ doors in Rosebank yesterday for the transit referendum, and look at this phone bank last night! @hownashmoves @nashvilledems Today is the last day to vote early — polls are open till 7!
What a joy to cut the ribbon on Shelby House yesterday—195 affordable homes for Nashville families! And, the next phase is underway next door. Congratulations @EvanHolladay on this great project. A warm welcome to all new residents; we are so proud to have this in District 6!
@NashvilleScene continues its District 6 food tour and I am here for it. Fully 1/2 of this citywide list is in D6, and these spots are great! The Scene and I really ought to team up for a D6 food documentary. https://t.co/45ESgGuMma
I love judging a pie contest, but nothing is better than sharing it with my amazing, dedicated, hilarious assistant judge! Another great Eastwood Fall Fest :)
We knocked a TON of doors in Bellevue today for @VoteBo @Campbell4TN and @MeganCBarry! Join @nashvilledems to turn out the democratic vote to protect our rights at the ballot box in November! https://t.co/n4OtJIzkrl
and to answer some qs I’ve gotten, yes this picture was taken in Donelson where we met up, but the doors we knocked today were up the road a ways in Hermitage!
Big crowd out canvassing in Hermitage today for @Natrixdreammom and @Campbell4TN ! Only missed the @NashvilleCLC Labor Day Parade to help get these two amazing pro-labor women elected. Join @nashvilledems for multiple canvasses every week!
Yes! This is a huge deal for Nashville and for self-government. Appeals may follow, of course, but we are on a strong footing. It’s great that the panel affirmed what has been plain all along: the Metro Council Reduction Act was in obvious violation of the State Constitution.
Location and date update for the community meeting about the Shelby Golf Course. It will be on 7/29 at 4:30pm at the club house (2021 Fatherland St.) Reminder that this meeting will only be about a golf course issue: golf balls veering off the 10th hole toward nearby houses.
