@elonmusk@AllanObare4 “Wokeness” is another word for empathy. You rail against the “woke mind virus” because admitting to a lack of empathy clearly makes you the bad guy.
I think it would be even better if I could say “Alexa, thank my driver” and they’d get time to go to the bathroom, or form a union without harassment.

Georgia Republicans tried (and failed) to block early voting on a Saturday.
Read that again.
If your vote didn’t matter, Republicans wouldn’t be working tirelessly to keep you from casting it.

Here’s what “civil political discourse” looks like in Ohio.
Clearly what’s happened here is a JD Vance fan tore down this @TimRyan sign (on the ground on the right of the photo) and stuck a JD Vance sign in its place.
The Republican Party is the party of bullies and assholes.
If you’re one of the people who eats your alleged future purchases while you’re still shopping at the grocery store, you should feel confident that we all want to punch you in the face.
Don't let negative polls discourage you. Don't let positive polls lull you. The only thing that matters is showing up at the polls on, or before Election Day, and voting blue to reclaim our country.
Among the worst offenders: @iMore. I’m done clicking on iMore articles, because it’s clear they don’t care about the content they’re delivering to me. There’s barely any room to read the content on a mobile device, and the damn page reloads every 90 seconds or so. Ridiculous.
When content pages reload while you’re in the middle of reading them in order to (presumably) generate new ad impressions, things are officially out of hand.
I see more and more sites doing this each week. It’s a trend that’s going to break the whole model.
PHP folks: what non-standard extensions do you use? (I always install YAML. I'm especially interested in hearing about your favorites that aren't listed on the PECL website. #php#pecl#phpext
Looking back at @simonw's post on RSS dates, after digging into a similar post from Mark Pilgrim on the Wayback Machine ... it's just remarkable that here we are, nearly 20 years later. It's been a long time since I worried about RSS date formatting. https://t.co/Z2iZrDbvOk
