@Lorenzo1Musetti You have great talent and a beautiful game. Today, you had a tough loss against a rising star. It's okay. You're still coming back from injury. Not easy. We appreciate you, win or lose.
I don't understand @stephaniebye_ of The Atlantic recommending a novel that mounts a populist attack from the left on the meritocracy. Isn't that precisely what RFK Jr. is inflicting on us? #vaccineswork#CDC
@AniHolt5187 re. smellmaxxing, I got a lot out of your story, but I'd like to gently suggest that what's missing is a scientific, evo-psych perspective. Marketers exploit young boys instinctive need to compete for female attn. Culture adds supernormal stimulation into the mix.
Our deployment of American Rescue Plan funds provided by the Biden-Harris Administration is growing Lincoln’s workforce and helping job seekers at all ages and stages of their careers!
A big thank you to the US Secret Service who apprehended the individuals who swatted us on Christmas, and for the great work of the @Lincoln_Police who diligently stayed on the case and worked with them.
There are consequences for these kinds of crimes.
@TheAtlantic@galbeckerman Such a revealing remark: "If you can just go along with all the bracing dissonance, you’ll 'get,' I bet, how ingeniously Copland keeps manipulating a stark, punched-out theme." But, aesthetically, wouldn't we be better off reading about it?
@johnstonglenn@galbeckerman Such a revealing remark: "for something flinty, jagged, rigorous, and shockingly modern, listen to Copland’s arresting 1930 'Piano Variations.'"
@sophieGG Kudos to you for your illuminating review of Anderson's "Henry Sugar" (and other Dahl stories). How I envy this scintillating and spot-on phrase: "layers deep into a ... metafictional mille-feuille." Nice!
@nkjemisin Delighted to read about how you turned a horrible vacation experience into a horror story. It sucks that you and your family had to endure a fear that only Black people in America have to suffer, but glad you turned it.
Come see our hilarious play about polarization in America. It crops up community radio station KOMM-FM when budget cuts force differing hosts to share the mic. More info: https://t.co/6hu7obIqpx Tickets and more shows: https://t.co/vGvfWZ0PGB #omahafringe2023#omaha
Seeking relief from all the partisan bitterness? Hope you'll see my play Mix & Machinate in Omaha Aug. 11-13. More: https://t.co/ULzoLrr9qm https://t.co/vGvfWZ1nw9 #Omaha#Omahafringe#theatre
@paulkrugman I read your essay on Japan today with a wry smile. In 1992, while a Tokyo correspondent for UPI, I wrote a book about why demography would not only defuse the Japan "threat" but would also liberalize the country. Didn't get much play at the time, but feel vindicated.
@JKristiantoTV Josh, at a time when news is often grim, I appc your coverage of the arts festival last month. I'd like to invite you to cover the Omaha Fringe Festival, Aug. 10-13. It'll include my play Mix & Machinate. Happy to share more. https://t.co/ULzoLrqBAO #omahafringe
