@ID_AA_Carmack@AntonHand No doubt, I'm just wondering if most Rift titles will require more distillation to play on Quest. Also pondering if Quest compatibility will set a new min spec for future Rift titles or will it be largely two separate categories?

In considering the various "home" spaces of VR systems like Vive, Oculus, and WinMR, they very clearly draw inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright. But I think the spaces would confuse or perplex him. There's no purpose to any of the design. It's all just empty, generic, "space".
Pretty much confirmed my hunch - (maybe) a small improvement on HoloLens but nothing like what was promised. Poor controller tracking is a real disappointment.

Unlike the Meta 2, the Magic Leap One *is* a direct competitor to the HoloLens, because MLO and HL both include a full operating system and user interface model, whereas the M2 is just a display that (poorly) tracks your viewing direction.
I'd like to know the ratio (virtual to real space) and minimum space needed for this. My guess is like most redirected walking systems, this is only practical for certain location based experiences, not home use.
@DannyBittman Not sure if there's a technical reason, but it wouldn't surprise me if it just missed the cut off initial must have features. Oculus Go does include a brightness slider. Neat hack tho.
