THE EASIEST PART OF GREATNESS IS GETTING THERE; MAINTAINING GREATNESS IS HARDER

Beware of emotionally or sentimentally exposing people to opportunities, platforms, resources, and responsibilities that are beyond their capacity to handle and steward. The grace of God is not a license for a lack of growth.

Grace available is not what profits you. It is grace received, grace utilised, and grace maximised.

Most times, the arrogance of believing you can handle a level is proof that you have not grown. Because when you grow, you become aware of the enormity of the responsibility that comes with that realm.

One way God tames pride is to promote you. When you finally sit on that seat, you discover that the responsibility is far greater than you imagined. The easiest part of greatness is getting there. Maintaining greatness is harder than arriving there.

Grow into what you are praying for. Build the capacity to carry what God is bringing.

@Askwhyisit Jesus is God the Son, while the Father is God the Father. They are distinct Persons within the one God. So when Jesus prayed, the Son was communicating with the Father. His prayers show relationship within the Trinity, not that Jesus was praying to Himself.

@God_Questioner God is not judging people merely for making finite mistakes. Sin is a rejection of God, and hell represents the final consequence of being separated from Him.
But God offers forgiveness and restoration through Jesus.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you” (Luke 17:21). Wherever people genuinely submit to Christ as King and live under God’s will, the Kingdom is being expressed.
