@gavin_spoor Double down on inputs , doing weekly tissue sampling , tons of foliar based on the results of the tissue tests , trying some 30" beans and y dropping what they need , strip tilling as well . Lots of side by sides comparisons. Time to produce more on less ground .
@clintwfischer There is a book written by a guy local to us in Ontario that was written mabee 20 or so years ago called - The wealthy farmer diary by David S Brown . It was a spin of the wealthy barber . Short book , easy to read , and to the point .
@thefalse_earguy @CDiefenbacher Yes , I have used them on earthmoving jobs for ponds crossing over wet areas with 6x6 off road haul trucks loaded to the gills . Back and forth with thousands of loads. As long as it is fairly level underneath so they do not flex to much you will be fine
@clintwfischer I think that some of the problem with society/ some people currently are that they are not willing to do things like this . Lots of folks out there who would rather let their family or themselves suffer because they don't want to hurt their ego.
@clintwfischer Having no vehicle payments is a game changer . We have three vehicles in the family all paid for . With 3 we are never down a vehicle . Being able to do most repairs my self really helps as well .
@BryanHJVEquip @CLAAS_America Beautiful setup ! Saw it yesterday when I was picking up some macdon parts and looking at that tractor . That would put a lot of hay down in a hurry
@JLepelaars Going to have to disagree with you on this one.... fellow ontario guy here as well . Granted we want to relocate only for the reason of the future generations and development in this province but we are out here every day making it happen as first generation farmers.
