I am very happy that government will soon announce that one year ECE certificate holders will now be eligible for the 75 cent per hour wage increase. Stay tuned and thank you to the ECE workers for standing up for their work and the children of New Brunswick.
This just happened. Medics are sent all the way from Moncton to SJ to pickup a non urgent patient. In a storm. Why would we put them at risk? https://t.co/0siEGBrJHF (via @voice_nb) ~ Tks @CRWithers_
Congratulations to @PamDamoff on her appointment as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Health. We look forward to continuing to work with you on key priorities that impact Paramedics across the country #cdpoli
@doudroit You are factually wrong. There is not a shortage of Primary Care Paramedics Nationally. A recent job posting in Renfrew County Ont for a handful of positions had over 400 applications. People should ask the experts not believe the rhetoric.
This is so insulting and wrong. Many of the professions she mentions are actually regulated health professions. Regardless, team based care is the way of the future in healthcare. She should get on the train or get out of the way. https://t.co/h32aZRkrig
@MedicMatt17512 No one profession owns any specific scope or as you put it mission exclusively. It is not about turf anymore. We need to all understand that there is more than enough for everyone. Please remember the patient at the Center of the care.
@CdnStripes@Buck_Reed@Paramedic_Matt Things are moving in this area. There is no need to expect otherwise. This is not the debate. What is in question is the unprofessional rhetoric and turf protection displayed in this piece.
@clchjan31 NS Paramedics experienced similar push back from the NSNU when the CECs initially launched, its the rhetoric of someone who wants to maintain the silos, it will pass, there’s no other way forward.
