@lizbonnin @ChristineDSloan @Clean_Tech_EU It is wrong to equate 11% of all plastic recycled to PET/HDPE bottles, which have a significantly higher rate than other plastics. Many impartial stats show plastic bottles are more likely to be recycled than other beverage materials.

DRS should hopefully improve this.

@lizbonnin @ChristineDSloan Hi. c. 70% of PET bottles are collected in UK, of which 50% are reprocessed via Clean Tech to produce food-grade resin which goes back in to bottles - so not down-cycled. Agree we need to do more with collection and infrastructure
