Plymouth Rock is a famous 600-million-year-old Dedham granite boulder in Plymouth, Massachusetts, that has long been celebrated as the traditional landing site of the Mayflower Pilgrims in December 1620...

The Mayflower Pilgrims never mentioned Plymouth Rock in any of their journals or writings. Neither William Bradford nor the other surviving early accounts mention the Pilgrims stepping onto a particular rock. They actually made their first North American landfall further north at Cape Cod before arriving in Plymouth. The tradition was first recorded more than a century later, when 95-year-old Thomas Faunce reportedly identified the boulder in 1741 as the place his father’s generation had associated with the landing. Faunce spoke up to save it from being buried by a new wharf.

During the American Revolution in 1774, townspeople tried to haul the boulder to the town square to support the patriot cause. The rock split in two during the move. Locals viewed the fracture as a sign of the colonies breaking away from Great Britain. The upper half was hauled into Plymouth’s town square, then moved again to Pilgrim Hall in 1834, while the lower portion remained near the waterfront.

In 1880, the top portion was moved back down to the waterfront and reunited with the bottom half, and the year 1620 was carved into it. Housed under a classic portico designed by McKim, Mead & White at Pilgrim Memorial State Park, the rock now weighs about 10 tons—a fraction of its original size of up to 200+ tons.

Over the centuries, souvenir hunters chipped pieces off the rock, and it was moved multiple times between the harbor, town square, and the Pilgrim Hall Museum.

How much is actually committed? How many permanent jobs? What are taxpayers risking? Who owns the assets? Who collects the profits?

And why is the federal government investing taxpayer money in corporate equity without a full public accounting of the risks and returns?

Economic development matters. Semiconductor independence matters.

But America isn't a company to be bought, sold, or managed for the benefit of its biggest investors.

You were elected to govern a nation, not pitch it on Shark Tank.

And the American people aren't contestants waiting to hear whether Mr. Wonderful likes the deal. 😂

BREAKING: BURN BOOK! Kimberly Guilfoyle kept a secret journal full of dirty MAGA secrets and the Trumps are panicking: “She knows where the bodies are buried.”

The entire house of cards is wobbling now…

“Having her back in America would be a nightmare. Kimberly knows where the bodies are buried. She knows the people, the secrets, the fights, the relationships,” a source told the Daily Mail. “Nobody wants an angry Kimberly back home with nothing to lose.”

Trump forced Guilfoyle to resign as Ambassador to Greece after it was revealed that she demanded that a MAGA donor pay off $100,000 of her American Express debt in return for access to top administration officials. It’s exactly the kind of corruption that this White House is rife with, but Guilfoyle made the idiotic blunder of actually leaving text message evidence.

According to the Daily Mail’s insiders, the disgraced Guilfoyle may still get the last laugh because her “burn book” closely documents the closed-door behavior and actions of the Trumps and she now has reason to bring them down.

The insiders have started referring to the diary as “The Devil Wears MAGA,” a nickname which — while no doubt appropriate given the no doubt damning contents — subtly reveals the cultural ignorance that defines the Republican Party. A “burn book” appears in the film “Mean Girls” not “The Devil Wears Prada.”

And of course, Guilfoyle was not some casual associate of the Trump family. She was at the center of their inside circle, having dated Donald Trump Jr. for years before getting engaged to him. She was there for private conversations that nobody else was ever supposed to hear. Who knows what crimes she oveheard?

“Kimberly knows everything. She was way inside that family and political operation for years,” one insider said.

“Keeping Kimberly happy keeps Kimberly quiet,” stated another.

Perhaps most tellingly regarding the journal’s contents, the Daily Mail reports that top Trump allies were scrambling behind the scenes to save Guilfoyle’s job ahead of her firing, worried that she might unleash the diary as revenge.

Regardless of whether or not the Trumps buy her silence, we have not heard the last of this book. When Democrats retake Congress, we should subpoena its contents!
