Twitter/X vs Isotes — Why We Built Something Different
Twitter became X. X became Elon's playground. And millions of users became the product of a billionaire's political project.
Isotes (Greek: ἰσότης — "equality") was built on a different premise: Equality in Every Voice.
Here's what makes us different:
🏛️ Ownership
• X: Owned by the world's richest man, who uses the platform to amplify his politics and business interests
• Isotes: Independent. No billionaire owner. No shareholders demanding "engagement" at any cost
🇪🇺 EU-First, Not US Big Tech
• X: US company, US data practices, US priorities
• Isotes: Built in Europe, for Europeans (and anyone who shares European values). GDPR-compliant by design, not as an afterthought
📜 Human Rights Foundation
• X: "Free speech" defined by one man's mood
• Isotes: Built on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Free expression WITH responsibility
🤖 Algorithms
• X: Optimized for outrage, engagement, and ad revenue. The algorithm wants you angry
• Isotes: Chronological by default. You see what you follow, not what makes you doom-scroll
🎮 Gamification for Good
• X: Blue checks for $8, meaningless verification
• Isotes: Badges earned through contribution — quality posts, helping others, building community
🛡️ Moderation
• X: Rules change based on who Elon likes today
• Isotes: Transparent, consistent community standards. Community Notes without the chaos
💾 Your Data
• X: You are the product
• Isotes: EU data residency. Your data stays in Europe, protected by the world's strongest privacy laws
We're not building another Twitter. We're building what social media should have been from the start.
Isotes: Equality in Every Voice.

European forces are being trained by Ukrainian veterans to fight a 21st century war while the US is still conducting warfare like it's the 20th Century.
Republicans in Virginia learned a hard lesson last night: land doesn't vote, people do.
Every election cycle they post the same county-level map — a sea of red with blue dots — as if geography has political preferences. It doesn't. Cows, cornfields, and empty highway miles don't cast ballots.
Virginia's cities and suburbs are where Virginians live. And Virginians voted.
Hungary's incoming PM Péter Magyar says Orbán used state funds to bankroll CPAC. Matt Schlapp didn't deny it — he thanked the new PM for the "invite back."
Orbán's foreign minister is currently shredding documents.
Orbán told Putin last October: "In any matter where I can be of assistance, I am at your service."
So the question writes itself: whose money was actually moving through Budapest into the GOP's flagship conference? Rep. Mike Levin is already calling for FEC and DOJ investigations. Foreign money in US elections is a federal crime. Let the subpoenas fly.
The Trump administration isn't trying to manage the EU, they're trying to dissolve it.
The Trump administration and America under his tenure is no longer a friendly nation to the EU
It's tactics concerning the EU are the same as those seen from Russia.
Read your own source, genius.
Your USAFacts link says the UK ranked #41 out of 46 high-income aid recipients, between New Zealand ($1,600) and France ($600 — yes, six hundred dollars). It also says $750M is "a small fraction of total U.S. foreign assistance."
And the delivery partner? 100% US government — meaning that "aid" is mostly US agencies spending on their own operations based in or involving the UK. It's not a check to London
@Shellgamedata You just listed EU policies the admin opposes, then complained about trans people. Neither of those is a rebuttal. The post was about the admin treating the EU like an adversary — which you just confirmed.
Oh more MAGA stupidity to tear apart. For one dipshit, I am American, just not a brainwashed cuck who believes in the mythology of American exceptionalism
Secondly when did the US save Europe? WW1? When we came in 2 years before the war ended when both sides were already exhausted and only because the Lusitania was sunk and of Germany's Zimmerman cable to Mexico?
Or did you mean World War 2? You know when we didn't enter until 1941 because Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and then Germany reciprocally declared war on us? If we wanted to save Europe we could have joined in 1939, 1940, or early in 1941, not at the ass end of '41 because we were attacked.
Next we struggled against the Germans, of all the German casualties in the ENTIRE WAR only 20% were suffered on the western front and 80% were lost facing the Soviets in the East
Oh and the rebuilding of Europe catapulted the US as the world democratic leader, something it has now failed completely because of Trump.
You asked "what tactic." Here's what I mean:
Trump told his cabinet the EU "was formed to screw the United States"
The 2025 National Security Strategy says the EU faces "civilizational erasure"
Musk called for the EU to be abolished while serving as a senior advisor
The admin is actively backing AfD, Orbán, and other anti-EU parties
EU Council President publicly warned the US against interference in Dec 2025
That's not an ally. That's what Russia has been doing for 15 years.
@Rob12388996@w4nkie You weren't alive 75 years ago dipshit. Those numbers were from the Marshall plan and like the typical braindead MAGA shit you are you had no idea of their context and posted them so confidently.
The worlds is moving away from America. Everyday the U.S. is becoming more and more isolated on the world stage.
Trump is costing America it's power and influence as well as it's trade and allies. While his MAGA base cheers, the rest of America wonders how this will end.
@authorpattaylor Ah, from the party who's president thinks he's Jesus, then a doctor and who's White Christian Nationalist SECDEF quotes Tarantino thinking it's from the bible.
I think what's hilarious is that the far-right thought @magyarpeterMP was some leftist who would bow down to the EU and over run Hungary with migrants.
Now they're finding out differently.
I've been saying for months that Magyar is a devout Hungarian who will always put Hungarian interests first.
He's moving to strengthen Hungary and remove the Orban and Russian corruption that's overrun Hungary. In my opinion he needs to focus on the Chinese as well, but I think he's a young PM with Hungary's best interests at heart.
@elorwelliano We have always known that Magyar is a Hungarian nationalist who supported Orban's strict immigration policy.
It's idiots like you who didn't. What he isn't and what YOU'RE truly upset about is that he's not a Russian pawn.
@BenGrahamUK He's always been a staunch supporter of Orban's immigration policies, I don't know why you think this is new.
What he isn't is a Russian lacky.
He didn't play the EU dumbass. Magyar has always been a staunch supporter of Orban's immigration policies since he was in Fidez. We've known this for years.
First you assholes say he's going to flood Europe with migrants, now you're criticizing him for being to harsh, which is it?
What you're really pissed off about is that he's not sucking Russian cock like Orban and the rest of the collective far-right of Europe does.
