Imagine if we saw a Steelers vs Packers Super Bowl next year.
McCarthy/Rodgers get a win from both sides against the other team. Would have to be a first.
23 sacks in 17 games is crazy…but is it as worthy of “record-breaking” celebration to 22.5 with Michael Strahan in 16 or TJ Watt in 15?
Or Jared Allen with his 22/23 sacks in 16?
Again, 23 in 17 games is still crazy. But it’s like breaking a passing record with extra games…
Pretty soon you’ll have to finish the entire NFL season before you can drop the ball in the endzone.
“The process of the catch” is the NFLs travelling situation the NBA doesn’t address.
A comparison for Steelers fans:
After winning 4 Super Bowls, Chuck Noll was 77-75 in the 80s with a 2-4 playoff record.
After making 3 Super Bowls, Mike Tomlin is 108-66 with a 3-9 playoff record.
Chuck Noll chose to retire. And you think Pittsburgh has any plan to “move on”?
All this stuff about “will the Giants trade with the Steelers for Mike Tomlin? This is such a realistic scenario!”
No it’s not. The Steelers are NOT trading Mike Tomlin.
Are they ever going to penalize an Offensive player for being dumb and dropping their head to the shoulder of an incoming defender? Don’t be dumber and risk your health. But it definitely should not go against the defender.
Coaching. Coaching. Coaching.
18 seasons and still can’t figure out prep for TNF away games?
Pittsburghs defense needs to stop being so bland with the rush.
WHY SO SOFT DEFENSE!
Tighten up, give some false edge rush drop backs for under cover with different DL stunts and fill blitzes from some inside LBs. Let’s mix it up!
Nothing I hate more than watching a LB stare down a QB when in Zone coverage. Head on a swivel, see the split TE/slot slant/drag to your zone.
Thats on Queen IMO.
