@traceythomas690 Hi - I’m deputy of an Infant School - we had pretty good phonics results but felt our old provision was tired / dry. We moved to Storytime Phonics - teachers and pupils love it and it uses real books.

Two years ago, at about this time, I was taken to hospital with Sepsis - which kills 44,000 people a year, including healthy adults, and yet I’d never heard of it. So consider this your annual reminder to Think Sepsis and get yourself to hospital ASAP if you see the signs.

Suggestion: Instead of using phrase ‘measuring progress’ could we all say ‘monitoring progress’ instead? It’s far more apt in a post-levels world. It’s the measuring bit that causes all the problems.
