@ProbioticFarmer@MatthewWielicki You may be right. I believe you would still see stars, particularly close to the horizon because, as you mention, there is no atmosphere to diffuse the relatively dim light from the stars. I don't know the science there very well though. I do know photography.
@ProbioticFarmer@MatthewWielicki Yes, it is about relative luminosity. Even at night though, you will note that if you look directly at a full moon you won't see any stars close to the moon even though they are there and both film and digital media are not as good at recording a high dynamic range as your eyes.
@MatthewWielicki Last post - I've experienced all of this as a photographer with both film and digital over the last 30+ years. The closest I've gotten to having the moon and stars in the same frame and exposed properly was during a full lunar eclipse and the stars were very dim.
@amalaekpunobi Yes, there are strict rules around where, when, and how many birds can be harvested. People don't just go around shooting ducks wherever and whenever they would like.
