It’s unfair to any country that signed the treaty in agreement that the 5 should be the only countries with that sort of power. And can be considered a double standard or a flaw in the treaty

According to international law or the NPT only the us, russia, china, France and the uk are allowed to have nuclear weapons. But we can’t do anything about the countries that never signed

Could very easily trigger a much worse arms race in the Middle East, potentially snowballing into a nuclear war. Youd be giving a authoritarian regime a nuclear bargaining chip

It was confirmed that their enrichment was two weeks away from meeting weapon grade enrichment. 409kg at 60% and some at 80%+ in fordo. Why enrich your uranium to weapon levels if the goal isn’t to build a weapon?
