@John1986ire @DashStud Completely accept your point regarding punishing the better horse, but it is difficult for the smaller owner when JP can go out and buy IGN winner whilst running 4/5 others the majority which are PU, maybe it's comes back to race planning and turning G2/3s to top level handicaps

Trainer's as technically the competition is still there as many will point out from Punch, however I find it difficult to accept that one owner having 5/6 runners in one race is healthy, smaller owners often balloted out as a result, far from straightforward tho
