Exaclty. This is the first tax that "re-taxes" what you own after taxing you on the income you earned to purchase it and paid the sales tax on the purchase itself. “one time tax on billionaires”. The stated goal on the original Income Tax was that it only apply to less than 5% of the population. Look how that turned out.

@DartTroller @haridigresses California has nearly 1 trillion dollars in unfunded liabilities (police, fire, teachers, etc. pensions). When you incorporate that, it’s difficult to claim the 5 largest economy in the world. When the pensions, etc. aren’t getting paid, things will get very bad, very quickly.
