@ItWithCoping @hasty_dancer Almost all of the flowers are named after their color, like Orange and Aqua and Blue. In English ‘Marigold’ is sometimes used as a color name. So ‘Marigold’ fits the color name theme of the other flowers, and Ralsei just says ‘giant rat’ to be mean!

@FLOWEY_Undergnd Her design actually does have something to do with gluttony: her lava lamp stomach incinerates food she eats so she’s never satisfied and always craving more + the whole bee motif is because of the name ‘BEE’lzebub. Though I do agree that first one isn’t immediately apparent
