We generally have this "it will not get to me mentality" until it does. Growing up one of the adages we were told reads as follows: "the street child you refuse to feed today will eat your own children tomorrow."

This is exactly what is happening. Things will get worse if urgent action is not taken because nobody is immune.

In October 2025, I took a decision that I now believe is changing the trajectory of my life.

After a brief trip, I decided to start a card and tabletop gaming community in Port Harcourt. Truth be told, I was unsure but saw a gap that needed filling.

Fast forward to 7 months later and I can confidently say that starting Shuffles was a great decision. We've successfully built the largest community of board gamers in Port Harcourt and have expanded into other forms of play.
