I asked someone what is the difference between Ruto's Regime and Uhuru's Regime.

She said:

“If I want to go to Mombasa and use the SGR, I’m grateful to Uhuru.

When I use the Nairobi Expressway and see how quickly I get to my destination without sitting in tiresome traffic, I say, ‘God bless Uhuru.’

Then I asked, “What about Ruto?”

She paused and said:

“Every month, I look at my payslip and see money being deducted for this thing called Affordable Housing. I resent Ruto. Those houses are not even affordable to the poor. They will mostly be bought by the rich. My money is being used to benefit people who are already better off.

And whenever I walk past Parliament, I get a painful déjà vu. I remember how young people’s lives were lost, and my heart skips a beat.

That is why, when the time comes, I must make the right decision.”
