"We are the darkest page of history" Afghan women sing in protest. This #IWD is another day of erasure for us Afghan women. Under 126 Taliban edicts, our faces are banned, our voices silenced, our dignity stolen. This is gender apartheid. Do not look away.
This is a timely and helpful resource that focuses on both the international and regional frameworks. Congratulations @tamarajanewood and all the authors on its publication.
Climate change and disasters are driving displacement. Our new Practical Toolkit provides clear guidance on how to assess related international protection claims, including regional perspectives from Africa, the Americas, and Europe.

So sorry that this is increasingly the experience of people who’ve come here to make a new life and contribute to our community. Our leaders across the political and business spectrum need to take a stand against this. #politas https://t.co/ZuRJfssOV0
@AbedinMuhammed@SenPaterson I agree with your point about selective humanity and hypocrisy though, btw Zain. Btw my comment was in relation to the Israel/Palestine situation.
@AbedinMuhammed@SenPaterson No offence taken. The selectivity of my preaching is based largely on my limited use of X. And in terms of the choice of issues, I think speaking out against the biased/racist comments of Aus politicians is something we should all do from time to time, but that’s just me.
How do disasters, #climatechange and environmental degradation in the MENA region affect #migration?
