@DhaliwalSports I think the easiest way to remember it is it sounds very similar to the name of another fairly well known coach (with Canucks ties as a player): Jack Capuano. So in this case, just with a “P”. Like “Papuano”. That should do it. 👍
@izzycheung37 Another way to look at it is one of the selection slots being traded away to return a F (Boreen), a known quantity that would have otherwise been lost. So really, the total “incoming” players from the day represented a pretty even spread: 2 F, 2 D, 1 G, 1 superstar hybrid D/F. 😊
@Hockey_Robinson@eliteprospects I mean, is it possible he missed on purpose because he already preemptively has that team on his future no-trade list in his mind? 😂
@ThomasDrance@TheAthleticNHL Thanks for the updates here @ThomasDrance. Great point about timing and potential impact (if it extends past draft lottery date), despite team’s comment. Small correction: I think you meant “cannot be overstated” (as opposed to ‘understated’). 🤓
@patersonjeff Love this fun fact and glad to see he’s still playing. Hey, got to be in the NHL, collected a point, and had the chance to wear that amazing jersey while on the ice with the Sedins, Nazzy, Mo, Trev, Lu, etc. What a core memory in a long continuing hockey career. 👏
