Ketua BEM UI Yatalathof Ma'shum Imawan mengungkapkan Bundaran HI dipilih karena mahasiswa tak lagi percaya dengan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) maupun pemerintah.
You know how brilliant their idea to choose Bundaran HI sebagai tempat "aksi" mereka adalah? It’s because they know Bundaran HI adalah pusat titik keramaian Jakarta.
Choosing Bundaran HI means maximum exposure. Akses ke semua lapisan masyarakat itu potensial banget buat attract publik. From the corporate slaves stepping out of their Sudirman offices, people commuting, to the general public—everyone is literally there. It is the ultimate hub to get eyes on your movement.
Plus di Bundaran HI, segala jenis transportasi umum ada. It’s the literal heart of Jakarta's transit. So obviously, the traffic will be disrupted. But honestly? In modern activism, that disruption is a feature, not a bug. When the traffic gets a bit chaotic, people are forced to look. It creates that instant "Wait, what’s happening over there?" effect.
As someone who used to organize actions and protests too, let’s be real for a second: pemilihan Bundaran HI ini bukan lagi buat "protes" langsung ke pihak yang diprotes.
Why? Karena ya udah pasti gak bakal didengar. Pointing fingers directly at the institutions just ends up making you tired, drained, and honestly, males banget. It’s a dead end.
Makanya mereka pilih Bundaran HI. It’s no longer about yelling at a brick wall; it’s about controling the narrative and winning the public's attention. If the authorities won't listen, you make the entire city talk about it instead. And there’s no better stage for that than Bundaran HI.
@tenderloinbeeff hiii! jujur aku kurang tahu tips n tricknya gimanaa, tapi basicnya harus kuat sih 🥹 pk aku masih banyak bisa ngerjainnya, kalau pm kayaknya banyak unsur luckynya deh 😭🙏🏻
Sebenernya yg bikin sedihnya lg: kenapa ya saat defending case KS, kita seringkali perlu bawa narasi “bayangin kl itu terjadi ke ibu/kakak/adik/pasangan kalian” dulu cuma utk nyadarin hati nurani laki-laki about how fucked up sexual violence is.. Why isnt basic humanity enough :(
if mark leaving NCT taught me anything, it’s that i gotta have the courage to leave any situation even if it’s all i’ve known, even if it was subjectively “good,” and no matter how scary it seems because i need to honour what feels most authentic to myself.
you know what … mark is one of the kindest idols i’ve ever known. his attitude , the way he appreciates everyone around him , the way he thinks , speaks and carries himself , everything about him feels so warm.
he carries so much responsibility as an idol and i really admire that especially knowing he’s been working so hard since he was so young. even though i don’t know him personally , you can just feel that he’s a genuinely good person. that’s why so many people love him.
sometimes i even think , “how lucky the person who gets to be with him someday” bcs he’s just so sincere , so thoughtful and so pure in the way he treats people. everything about mark feels beautiful in the most genuine way.
i just hope that from now on, he gets to be even happier … that whatever path he chooses , he’ll succeed and be surrounded by people who love him the same way he loves others. and more than anything , i hope he never loses that part of him , the softness , the kindness , the warmth that made so many of us stay 💚
