As a Lebanese, I am Semitic. They say 3,000 years. We say 5,000 years.
Semitic is primarily a linguistic and cultural classification, not a race or biological group. Semitic people are people who speak semitic languages. The three main Semitic languages are Hebrew, Arabic, and Aramaic. To believe that Zionism made sense, you had to put the antisemitic argument. Zionism is built on antisemitic.
They say God promised them our land, yet the very stones they stand upon in Lebanon's mountains hold ancient memories already old when that promise was supposedly told to them.
Baalbek stood 2,000+ years ago with the stone of the south, while their story was still being cast. Sidon's walls saw Crusaders, Phoenicians, and Romans come and go. 5,000 years in Byblos built the boats that floats, and wrote the alphabet we use, that alphabet became the foundation of Greek, Latin, and English—every book you read today trace back to ancient Lebanon.
A small walk in Beirut you will find Roman columns, Ottoman buildings, and modern skyscrapers on the same street.
Before Rome, there was Carthage. Before Carthage, there was Tyre—a city more than 5,000 years old. Europe, Princess of Tyre, gave her name to the continent of Europe, to those who, today, let Israel destroy her city by European weapons. They are bombing what they cannot claim, and call it defense!
You can't cry about "Antisemitism" while at the same time destroying semitic Lebanese heritage and killing semitic Lebanese people! 3,000 years they say they own but 5,000 years have already grown.
There is one mistake that your people make, they put themselves in a position where whenever anybody gives an objective analyst of the role they play, they defend themselves by accusing you of being antisemitic.
WE ARE THE SEMITIC...
Israel is the only country in the world that can bomb 9 countries and invade 3 neighboring countries in one year; kill 100,000 people—including 25,000 children—in 1,000 days; displace nearly 6 million people in 3 countries; starve 2 million people in Gaza; violate Geneva and Vienna Conventions, international law, human rights, and state sovereignty; kidnap, rape and torture children and women; shoot, imprison and murdering; and still be perceived as the victim.
